My training has begun for the post of probationary clerk. It started at Hotel Meghalaya and ended on 29.06.2013 at the same hotel. Our mentors were Ravi Sir and Radha Mam. I got to meet my new good friend Vidya Negi. The training programme was good. It reminded my college days. I really enjoyed time spending with Vidya. A very good batch. The training went up in a hurry and was a bit confusing but we have managed to learn something about banking and Canara Bank.

Life as a Banker
Its 1.07.2013 my first day at Canara Bank as a clerk. My posting was at Kancharapalem Visakhapatnam. Prior to this i had my training at Canara Bank Vizag RSTC( regional staff training coll) from 24.06.2013 to 29.06.2013. But i would call this day as my first day coz i have started working practically from this day..
I along with alekhya who also joined the same day met our first manager. Mr Poly Carp Baxila. This name seemed interesting when i first heard it. But when i met the manager he was just normal. He seemed to be like any other manager working hard between his targets and feeling very uncomfortable with the regional language with he is unfamiliar with. He looked simple and sleek. He tried his best to motivate us though it sounded like any other class that our lecturers took in the college days.Having done with him we met the other colleagues of our branch.
I have met a girl a year younger than my age as a probationary officer and a manager just 2-3 yrs older than me. Though not surprised i was impressed and a bit timid too.
Altogether the day went well. It was a memorable day. I went to simhachalam with my parents earlier this morning and gave my offerings to the god for blessing me..
A new beginning for an very new career..
